Style, by Mary

Hi! I'm Mary Rambin, designer of Moe Bags. I'll share my style, essential tips, and you make it your own. Here's my take on fashion and how it relates to life. Fashion is not life. it just makes it more fun. (I post most of my entries as they happen via my iPhone, making it difficult to always have perfect grammar and spelling for several reasons. Also, like most people in my generation, I rely on Spell Check. I can't spell for shit. If you can't tolerate that, my apologies.) To learn more about my handbags, visit www.MoeBags.com. Anything you want to know...email me your questions at moedesigns@aol.com. My Twitter is MaryRambin.

Even though it’s just us girls, I think it’s important to make my guests feel special.  Heft and I don’t have room for a formal dining table that seats more than two, so I’ve made up our coffee table for dinner.
In all seriousness, you can pick up place mats and cloth napkins from Neiman’s or Marshall’s, and as long as you put it together nicely, your guest will appreciate it.  As you continue to accrue items along the way, you will be able to mix and match the decor for different themes.  Obviously my theme here is spring, but if I changed the flowers and bows to a deep red, it could be a lovely fall table.
Total time to put this together: 10 MINUTES.  Ten little minutes.
Other notable items that make a good impression:

Consistent plates and silverware
Interesting stemware
Fresh flowers
Candles

If you’re on a budget, the best place to start is with plain white plates and good stemware.  Crate and Barrel has the best selection.
For extra points:

China
Chargers
Crystal candle holders
Fresh flowers in the bathroom
