Style, by Mary

Hi! I'm Mary Rambin, designer of Moe Bags. I'll share my style, essential tips, and you make it your own. Here's my take on fashion and how it relates to life. Fashion is not life. it just makes it more fun. (I post most of my entries as they happen via my iPhone, making it difficult to always have perfect grammar and spelling for several reasons. Also, like most people in my generation, I rely on Spell Check. I can't spell for shit. If you can't tolerate that, my apologies.) To learn more about my handbags, visit www.MoeBags.com. Anything you want to know...email me your questions at moedesigns@aol.com. My Twitter is MaryRambin.

Tailored suits are continuing to be trendy through Spring and into Fall 08.  For the warm weather, designers such as Ferragamo (above), Proenza Schouler, YSL, and Thakoon showed sleeveless jackets (in other words, an over-sized vest).
TIP: This look will be good for all shapes and sizes just make sure that you get one that flatters your figure.  If you have broad shoulders (like yours truly), the shoulder seem should stop short of the end of your shoulder.  On the other hand, if you’re narrow, a capped sleeve will give you a stronger frame.  For those of you who feel like you are lacking curves, the tailoring and darts will give you more of a figure. Petite women will be better off wearing the jacket with shorts or pants to lengthen their look.
Overall, I like this crisp outfit, but the bangles are killing me! And I would have preferred a red, yellow, or blue shoe.
